Layers on top of layers; some disappearing, some emerging, reflecting millions of people who have made their mark on a city’s visual cacophony. Discordant elements somehow merge to a unified whole. Text, collage, lines, sgraffito, and more unusual palette combinations are used in each of the series paintings.
